Translate a transcript from your video
This transcript translator works with transcripts generated in the shared video tool. Paste a supported public video link, or sign in and upload your audio or video. Obtain the original transcript first; this page does not accept arbitrary pasted text documents. Select an output language before processing to request an optional translation when the original is ready, or choose a language from the result controls afterward.
Keep the original and translation separate
AI translation produces a second result instead of rewriting the original. Use the Original tab to check the exact speech recognition output and select the language tab to read the translation. The tool copies source segment offsets, durations and speaker labels rather than asking the model to create a new timeline. This makes it easier to compare meaning against playback and find passages that need review.
Languages and limits
The selector lists 20 output languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese. A verified account is required. Included translation accepts up to 16,000 source characters and 200 segments, with a maximum of two provider requests per transcript and additional daily limits. A failed model call consumes an attempt. Translation is optional; long transcripts and exhausted limits do not prevent downloading the original.
Export the version you are reading
Copy and export use the active result tab. Timed originals and their translations support SRT and WebVTT. Use TXT for a readable document or for an untimed result. A cached completed translation can be revisited without another model request. A new target language uses another permitted request. Review terminology, numbers and names before relying on translated text in publication or professional work.
Start with a deliberate free trial
Preview a video, sign in, verify your account and claim 500 one-time credits where trial credits are available. Audio transcription reserves verified duration credits before processing: 1 credit per second with a 30-credit minimum. Existing YouTube captions can be retrieved for zero transcription credits under separate quotas. Included translation does not deduct additional credits, but its request and size limits still apply.
